Venture Crew 613 is a co-ed, youth lead Crew.  The activities and meetings are chosen, planned and carried out by the youth.  The Crew is lead by six officers (President, Vice President of Program, Vice President of Logistics, Secretary, Treasurer and Past President).  The officers are elected at the last meeting in January for a term of one year.  In February, the Crew Officers meet for a planning session to lay out the events and priorities for the upcoming year.  All officers are expected to attend the Venturing Leadership Skills Course which is offered several times throughout the year.  This one day training introduces the youth to the Venturing program as well as provides them with basic leadership skills.

The youth are supported by adults consisting of advisors and a Crew Committee.  There is one Crew Advisor and as many Associate Advisors as needed who provide guidance to the youth and attend the events.  The Crew Committee supports the Crew by ensuring that there are enough adult leaders and resources for the youth to carry out the program.

Crew 613 follows all policies and procedures of the Boy Scouts of America as laid out in the Guide to Safe Scouting.
